Believing In Jesus Is Beyond Reason

When Jesus was still speaking, people came from the family of the head of the synagogue and said, to the head of the synagogue "Your son is dead for what you trouble the teacher!". But Jesus ignored their words and said the head of the synagogue "don't be afraid, just believe it!". Then Jesus did not allow anyone to participate except Peter, James and John the brother of James. They arrived at the house of worship where Jesus saw people crying and wailing loudly. After entering Jesus said to the people, Why are you making noise and crying this child is not dead but sleeping.
But they laughed at Jesus, Jesus then sent all the people out He took the father and mother of the child and those who were with Jesus into the child's room. Then Jesus held the child's hand said "talita kum" which means Hi daughter I said to you wake up. Immediately the 12-year-old daughter stood up and walked. All the people who were present were very amazed by Jesus' message to them so that no one would know about it, then Jesus told them to give food to the daughter” ...
thus the Gospel of the Lord ... Praise Christ.

Believing in Jesus makes his life rank higher

Believing In Jesus
Dear brothers and sisters,

Each of our actions as believers, our Christian actions. It is to have an audit tool, have a tool to measure, have the tools to observe the extent to which our actions are correct and bring perfection of life that is measured by faith and hope and love.

Suppose a child learns school if he is only because there is homework, or because he is forced to continue learning. And if he does not have an order to do something ordered from outside, the child does not believe that learning is useful for the future.
So he did the lesson or study not for the future but to obey the will of others. It was a sign that he had no love for the student. So if you want to love the lesson, then we hope that what I learn will someday be useful for my life, perfect my life. So from there he is hopeful, for what? Because he believes through learning this school will make his life rank higher.

Ensuring and believing in Jesus makes this prayer and fasting truly great

Believing In Jesus

Brothers and sisters,
Why do you come to church if it is based on faith in hope and love, then the act of going to church is a spiritual act. If not, it is just a habitual ritual mechanism.
For example, if you don't go to church just because you are told by your parents or because of your schedule or because for example, you feel reluctant if you don't go to church, feel uncomfortable with your neighbors and so on, that's what acts as a mechanistic ritualism, something just a habit.

But if our actions to church are based on believing in the Eucharist, I become more united with Jesus, my life will be perfected when I welcome the body of Christ and I believe that, the Blessed Sacrament is the body of Christ who perfects life.
When doing that is based on faith, based on belief, based on a deep belief, we will hope. So it is not in vain that I go to the church to persevere in worship, it is a heavenly investment in an act of saving that will never be in vain in the future.

There is a belief, for example, in the interior of Borneo. People in the interior of Borneo if there are guests and he will serve the best food he has. Even though he did not know that person would mean evil or not. So if he has chicken, the chicken is slaughtered, if you have tuak, the best wine is given, even if it's coffee, the best coffee. Because if he gives the best to someone he doesn't know, then one day my child will be treated well in the future.

It becomes a conviction, often we know that there is a mother who often fasts David for her child who is on an exam or his child will prepare himself to apply for a job, or when his child is in distress. So he prayed at 12.00 a night, then he fasted. When the action is based on his great love for his child, and he believes that this prayer and fasting is truly powerful, then he hopes that what is done will not be in vain.

Believing in Jesus underlies certainty, his belief in a truth.

Believing In Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters,
About 10 years ago when someone heard that I would go pilgrimage to the holy land, there was a father and mother who left a letter. He said "Father had time to come to the wailing wall for help tucking in this paper". I also don't ask what your intentions are? but that after that I did and did not ask again and I also forgot. After returning home did not tell me what I had done or not?

But that about one year after that the father and mother brought the baby and said "this father of the child from the prayer that we believe at that time I entrusted the letter was the Intention, because we were married for eight years and had not been blessed with children" even though there were no obstacles both from my wife and from me believe that God will open the gate, the term he opens the gate of Jerusalem for the birth of my child, and what happens is what is believed.

Likewise, some time ago, for example, there was a mother who brought a child. A small baby met with a bishop in an area, he said, this Bishop, his son, Bishop. As the bishop only joked, he said, "Yes, this father was when we had no children for many years, we were touched by the story in the gospel, the mother of 12 years of bleeding and touching the tufts of her robe must have recovered from believing.

At that time my husband and I were also in this parish and we touched the robe of the bishop during the procession of the Chrism Mass. So he deliberately sat on the edge so then touched the Bishop's purple robe and it turned out that we were given this child. Certainly not the tuft of his powerful robe but is this person's Faith because he underlies the certainty of his faith with an irrefutable truth. nothing can shake what he believes is right.

Hope because he loves and believes in Jesus

Believing In Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters,
Jairus also believed that even though he was the leader of a place of worship, he was a takmir from a synagogue, but he as a religious figure who humbled himself prostrated before Jesus to beg for help because he loved his son. His child is 12 years old and dies. So Lord Jesus immediately went to the house. And in the journey of the Lord Jesus felt that there was a power that came out of him. God Jesus tested people's faith. Is then feeling defeating faith.

Dear brothers and sisters,
A mother who has 12 years of bleeding is trained by Jesus, if she believes it must be above feelings, not under feelings. Belief is beyond reason, and must not be conquered by feelings. For example, I believe that the sacrament of marriage is a noble way to heaven, it does not mean when feeling disappointed with a husband, disappointed with his wife, feeling hurt by feelings of disappointment and feeling sick, never defeating what he believes, then that kind of person has hope. Why are Martyrs able to stand despite suffering? because he believes, because he is hopeful because he loves God.

Brothers and sisters,
The yairus child is also called "talita", the talita means little kid. So what Jesus said to the 12-year-old girl was like waking up a sleeping lamb. "O my Lamb, wake up", so by the Lord Jesus, he is a little lamb who is sleeping and awakened and that is where people fall.

In faith, we realize that we are not pastored by the desire of desire. We are all lambs of God. God has power, only we lack trust. God is full of power, the peak of all power, the totality of power, only we often doubt whether it is true that we ourselves often reduce the degree of our faith under feelings?

When praying many times it turns out that there is no form, starting to feel like a failure, so we begin to not believe or when we feel others. As a result we are no longer convinced of God's truth.

We hope that with the preaching of the Gospel today, we will become people who increasingly believe in Jesus, have hope, because we love God. "Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, as at the beginning now, always and all time ... Amen."
